The versatile Tac Weapon Sling offers three options for rifle/carbine carry. A heavy weapon carry system is integrated into the R3 Frame for secure and supported carry of long-range calibers with large optics. The buttstock is supported with a sling mounted directly to the frame, the forearm is secured to the frame with a quick detach strap. The R3 Tac Weapon Sling can also be moved to the outside of the frame for side carry of long rifles. The Tac Weapon Sling weighs 1.4 ounces.

Works sweet
I attached this to the hip belt of a pack made from another brand using small length of webbing. The resulting setup is very nice. My rifle butt fits well in the pocket, carries comfortably, and is easy to bring to hand quickly using the quick release.

Modified for Non-SG Pack
I bought this to put on a non-Stone Glacier pack and it worked great. I had to buy a 1 inch wide strap to wrap around my waist belt and the holster attached directly to that. Then I wrapped the top strap around my shoulder strap to secure it. The thinner end of the strap made it easier to close the quick release latch and faster to unlock than the competing Gunbearer. Overall very happy with the purchase. If SG started to include the extra 1 inch strap it would make the unit even better as a universal fit.

Great! I lost my quick release so I ordered another gun sling. It came in just 4 days. And I didn't recognize the quick release was attached to the sling and asked about it. I was readily sent a replacement before I recognized my error. I will continue to order gear from Stone Glacier! Great service!
